As President, Partner, and Financial Planner at TNT Asset Management, I specialize in advanced and specially designed qualified plans, tax planning, and institutional money management. I am motivated by designing innovative solutions that positively impact our business owners, professionals, and other clients’ lives, especially by building close, long-term relationships with them. I strive each day to be a good listener for my clients and understand their goals and needs in order to counsel them and explain plans and concepts in as much detail as necessary.

I have worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years. Prior to founding TNT Asset Management, I owned and managed an engineering and contracting firm. I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 1992, and before beginning my career, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I decided to move my professional career from engineering to financial planning when I was working at my engineering firm. I helped a client who was advised to sell his C corporation to a private equity group as an asset sale, change to stock sale, and set up a charitable remainder unitrust that saved the client a very large amount in taxes. Many other examples led me to address large business broker conferences on helping business owners structure their exit and clarify their financial plans as well.

I currently live in Round Rock, Texas with my wife, Beverly, and we named TNT Asset Management after our two sons, Trevor and Tarik. When I am not making a positive impact on my clients, I serve on a number of nonprofit boards and stay active in a variety of organizations including Global Austin and the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation. Additionally, I served on the board of Goodwill Central Texas as the Chairman of the Finance, Compliance, and Audit Committees for the past nine years and just recently finished that service. I also enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
